Problems of North Karachi industrialists to be resolved: Minister

KARACHI: Jiddat Web Desk:  Sindh Minister for Labour, Transport and
Information Syed Nasir Hussain Shah Wenesday said that the problems of
North Karachi Industrialists would be resolved on priority as that of
the other industrial zones.
This he said while holding a joint meeting with industrialists of
North Karachi Association of Trade and Industries (NKATI), said a
statement.
Nasir Shah said that the government of Sindh was considering to provide
fire tenders to all zones and it would be supervised and monitored by respective industrial zone in any emergency in future.
He assured them one window operation will be launched for the
welfare of labourers and the industrialists to facilitate them through
Social Security, EOBI and Workers Welfare Boards.
He said that through integrated transport system in the city many
projects are being initiated in the transport sector like green, blue, orange and red lines for the betterment of the city transport system.
The Founder and former President of NKATI Captain A. Moiz Khan,
Akhtar Ismail President NKATI and others also spokes and apprised the
Minister about the issues/problems of North Karachi Industrial Area.
They also presented Memento to the Minister Labour Syed Nasir
Hussain Shah.
Later, the Minister inaugurated the newly constructed dispensary
for the welfare of labourers of North Karachi by the NKATI.
The Minister appreciated the step taken by the NKATI and ordered
the Commissioner SESSI to provide immediately one doctor with staff
and ambulance to the NKATI for the medical and emergency facility to
the workers of the area.
