Anti-polio drive kicks off 

ISLAMABAD, Sep 18 : A four-day anti-polio drive began in
different parts of the country to vaccinate children up to five-year
of age on Monday.
According to Radio Pakistan, in Punjab anti polio
campaign is being started in Sarghoda, Multan, Lodhran, Vehari
Khanewal, Hafizabad, Bahawalpur, Bahawal-nagar and Rajanpur
districts.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA, over 6.6 million
children would be vaccinated against the crippling
disease.
In Balochistan, more than 2.4 million children less than the
age of five years will be administered anti-polio drops.
In Gilgit Baltistan, over 243,000 children would be administered
anti-polio drops during the campaign.
In Azad Jammu and Kashmir, a total of 7,48,948 children will
be administered anti-polio and Vitamin A drops.
Strict security arrangements were being made to avoid any
untoward incident.
