PCB rejects Umar Akmal’s request to pay fine in installments

Web Desk ::The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has rejected the request made by batsman Umar Akmal to pay his fine in installments.

According to sources, Umar Akmal had claimed that he has been facing financial issues and would not be able to pay the fine completely. That is why the batsman had requested to pay the fine in installments. The PCB made the decision to reject the request after analysing the details of the accounts provided by Umar Akmal.

The batsman now has to pay Rs. 42,50,000 in order to participate in the program that can lead to his eventual comeback to professional cricket.It should be noted that the fine of Rs. 42,50,000 was given to the batsman by the International Court of Arbitration.

Asad Qureshi said that he is much obliged to the people of Turkey and their leadership for their love. He said he aimed to represent Pakistan on his upcoming visit to Turkey. On the occasion, Asad also presented the national attire of Pakistan from his brand clothing to the Turkish dignitary.

Web Desk ::More than 3000 personnel of Levies and Khasadar forces in completed second phase of training, said in a statement issued by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Tuesday.

According to the media wing of Pakistan Military, in collaboration of Pak Army and Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the second phase of training of former Khasadar and Levies personnel integrated into the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police concluded.ISPR said that the second phase of training in different areas of the tribal districts conducted from 18 January to 12 April 2021 in which 3300 personnel integrated into the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police were trained by expert trainers of Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police. Training included counter-terrorism, quick reaction force, policing, dealing with IEDs and explosives, awareness of modern equipment, physical fitness and firing practice were given.Senior officials of Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps and Police oversaw the ongoing police training on various occasions and expressed satisfaction.

Police passing out parade ceremonies were held under COVID-19 protocol in different areas of newly merged districts.According to ISPR, the families of passing out policemen, Senior Officers from Civil administration, Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps, Police and other guests attended.

بھوٹان کورونا ویکسینیشن میں اسرائیل اور امریکا سے بھی آگے نگل گیا

تھمپو جدت ویب ڈیسک:بھوٹان نے محض 16 دنوں کے عرصے میں اپنی 93 فیصد بالغ آبادی کو کورونا ویکسین لگا دی ہے۔

غیرملکی خبررساں ادارے کے مطابق بھارت اور چین کے درمیان واقع اس ہمالیائی ملک نے 27 مارچ کو کورونا ویکسین لگانے کا عمل شروع کیا تھا اور مجموعی طور پر اپنی آٹھ لاکھ کی آبادی میں سے 62 فیصد کو یہ ویکسین لگائی جا چکی ہے۔

اپنی مجموعی آبادی کو ویکسین لگانے کی شرح کے اعتبار سے بھوٹان اب اسرائیل اور امریکا سے بھی آگے نکل چکا ہے۔

برطانیہ نے پاکستان کو 21 ہائی رسک ممالک کی فہرست میں شامل کردیا

لندن جدت ویب ڈیسک:برطانیہ نے پاکستان کو 21 ہائی رسک ممالک کی فہرست میں شامل کردیا۔

میڈیارپورٹس کے مطابق منی لانڈرنگ اور دہشت گردی کی معاونت جیسے مسائل سے دوچار ممالک کو اس فہرست میں شامل کیا جاتا ہے، ہائی رسک ممالک کی فہرست میں پاکستان کا نمبر 15 واں ہے، فہرست میں شام، یوگنڈا، یمن اور زمبابوے بھی شامل ہیں۔

دسمبر 2020 میں برطانوی حکومت کی رپورٹ کے مطابق پاکستان اور برطانیہ کے درمیان ناجائز رقوم کا تبادلہ جاری ہے۔برطانوی حکومت کے مطابق ٹیکس کنٹرول کا نہ ہونا، دہشت گردی کی مالی معاونت اور منی لانڈرنگ کے مسائل سے دوچار ملک خطرہ ہیں۔

ہائی رسک ممالک کے تعین کی نئی تعریف کے بعد برطانیہ میں ‘منی لانڈرنگ اینڈ ٹیررسٹ فنانسنگ ریگولیشن 2021’ مارچ میں نافذ ہوا ہے۔

The recipients of Sitara-l-lmtiaz (Military) were Cdre Khyber Zaman, Cdre Shafquat Hussain Akhtar, Cdre Adnan Majeed, Cdre Muhammad Imran Rana, Cdre Rizwan Ahmed, Capt Noaman Imam, Capt Khalil Ahmed, Capt Atif Raees Khan and Capt Farhan Ahmad Siddiqi.

According to a statement issued by the Director General Public Relations (Navy) in Karachi on Tuesday, the recipients of Tamgha-i-lmtiaz (Military) were Cdr Muhammad Haseeb, Cdr Talha Mateen, Cdr Zaheer Ahmed Majid, Cdr Abid Hussain, Cdr Tajamal Hussain, Cdr M Maooz Akrama, Cdr Atta UIIah Jehangiri, Cdr Irfan Bashir, Cdr Tassaddaq Hussein, Cdr Irfan Parvez Khan Khattak, Cdr Abdul Musawir, Lt Cdr Sajid Bari, Lt Cdr Muhammad Mobeen-Ul- Haque, Lt Cdr Siddiq Akbar, Lt Cdr Husnain Raza, Lt Cdr Haider Abbas, Lt Cdr Muhammad Wahab Usama, Lt Cdr Hassan Shahid, Lt Cdr Imran Khan and Lt Cdr Imran Khan. The recipients of Tamgha-i-Basalat were Capt Saiyad Uzair Khalid, Lt Cdr Najeeb Ullah Khan, Lt Cdr Mahboob Ul Haque Siddiqui, Lt Waleed Nawaz, Lt Rao Junaid Ahmed, Lt Ahmad Hassan Shah, Lt Hafiz M Ameer Hamza, Usman Ali LCDT, Imran Masih LSW, Zia Ur Rehman SFT-I and Wasif Ur Rehman SFT-I.

The recipients of Imtiazi Sanads were Cdre Rizwan Ahmed, Lt Muhammad Saqib Majeed and Lt Muhammad Haris Naghman.Twenty-two Awards of TK (M)-I, 65 awards of TK(M)-II and 29 awards of TK(M)-III have also been conferred upon CPOs and sailors. Letters of Commendation from Chief of the Naval Staff have been awarded to 99 Officers, CPOs/Sailors and Navy Civilians.
