Jiddat Web Desk ::The government of Saudi Arabia has issued a royal directive restructuring the Haj, visit and transit visas and annulling the repeat Umrah fees.

This decree means that the Umrah fees for the second time Umrah performers would be waivered.Presently, people have to pay 2,000 riyals if they want to visit the holy land for an Umrah for a second time.

Earlier, the PM Khan had asked the Saudi Crown Prince—Mohammad Bin Salman to waive the 2,000 riyals tax that was imposed by the government of Saudi Arabia on the Pakistani Umrah pilgrims performing Umrah more than one time within the span of 2 years.

The royal directive is part of the keenness of the leadership to facilitate the arrival of Muslims from all across the world for performing Hajj and Umrah, this was said the Saudi Minister for Hajj and Umrah—Dr Mohammad Salih Bentin as cited by the Arab News.

Salih Bentin further said that the Kingdom’s readiness reflects to receive the surging number of pilgrims owing to the large infrastructure projects and the development of services in Makkah, Madinah and the holy places.

He also said that the order supports efforts for achieving one of the most significant objectives of the Vision 2030 reform plan, which is to receive 30 million Umrah pilgrims by that year and to offer them great services so they could perform their rituals in comfort and peace.
